Hello and thank you for checking me out!

My name is Mikko and I'm located in southern part of Finland in very small village called Hikiä. Locator grid is KP20MQ.

I've been radio amateur since beginning of 04/2009 and I'm really fashinated about getting dx:s and meeting new people. So still quite new on bands and lot's to learn.

Some changes made to station during this summer 2011. Antenna changed to KLM KT34A with telescope mast ( 3x6 meters ) with Yaesu G-1000c and homebrew gp for 40 meters. Power is 100W due class limitation and rig is Icom IC-7200 with Heil BM-10-ic headset . 80m and 160m dipoles are still down thanks to storms, but hopefully I get those up again. In picture you can see desktop mic, model Astatic 1104C. Hope to get it someday back. I originally started with old Yaesu FT-767GX, but problems with outgoing audio forced me to buy new rig.

One important note about qsl. Please, DON'T SEND any MONEY to me. QSO = QSL. With direct qsl:s SAE is nice surprise, but not needed. For those who have sent qsl-card with money, money will be returned with my qsl-card. And please, NO EQSL. Contest qso will be confirmed via bureau. If you need direct from contest, please send qsl to me and I send mine to you for sure.

I'm married and I have two little daughters who are very keen of my equipments. Every now and when I find my old cb microphone in their hands. Hopefully someday they are going to be amateurs as well. Big thank's and hug to my very understanding wife and also to many amateurs here in Finland who have helped me.

During Field Day 2010, 4.-5. of September worked as OH3FOG/P with my brother OH3JP on near by hill. Loc is same as mine, KP20MQ. Thank's to all who made contact with us. I hope that you had as great time as we did.
