Hi there,. nice you visit me;

I am living in Oegstgeest, a little village very close to the university-town Leiden. Here are some details about myself. I have got my license in 1975. Untill 1983 I was active on the 2 meter and 70 cm band with home-build apparatus. After retiring in 2003 from my job as health-physicist in radiation protection at the University Hospital in Leiden , I did pickup the radiohobby again.

Since 2006 I am also active on the hf-bands with a Yaesu FT-950 and a FT-897. At the moment my hf-antenna is a homemade sloping-wire dipool of about 2 x 11 meters. On vhf and uhf I am using a Diamond X-30 or a groundplane antenna. An other hobby of me and our three sons is photography; in particular airplanes, but also animals and nature. My different qsl-cards give an example of these pictures, made by my sons; they are best in photography!

                                                    I like as a confirmation of a QSO to receive and send QSL-cards!

                                                    Cards received directly are being answered by post-mail.

                                                    Also cards from SWL's are welcome and are being answered.

                                                     In my opinion qsl-cards are an essential part of radioamateurism !

Thank you so much and I hope to meet you on the bands some day,

 73  Wim.
