Hi there, and welcome to my QRZ page! As you can see on the picture at the right I'm not dead yet, in spite of the massive amounts of RF which passed through my body since birth (I built my first transmitter at the age of 8). So far for the 'Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity' myth!

I did think of the text I would like to see on my tombstone though, and, as usual, wasn't able to come up with anything serious.

I don't care much about anything digital related to HAM radio, although I use Echolink on a regular basis. Some good old friends have no antenna anymore, and this is the second best option.

Still with me, but bored to death? Then you might want to visit my blog, located here.

The Shack
I love so-called 'boat anchors'. At this point in time, the oldest rigs are a Yaesu FT-901 (complete line), a Sommerkamp FT-7B/YC-7B combo, and a Yaesu FT-225RD. I do all the maintenance and repairs myself.

Modern transceivers are present too: Kenwood TS-570DG, Yaesu FT-920, Yaesu FT-900CAT, Kenwood TMV-71 and a Yaesu FT-8900R. Most of the time I'm using VHF/UHF handhelds though, as large parts of the day consists of outdoor activities.

Test & Repair Equipment
And here is the most used, hence most important part of the shack. My repair bench features only the basic equipment, and I tried to spend as little money as possible.

At this moment I use a Victor VC-3165 bench counter, a Victor VC-2002 function generator, and an Atten ADS1102CAL 100MHz Digital Storage Oscilloscope.

Some smaller test equipment, such as multimeters, LCR meters, dummyloads and Watt meters make my small repair center reasonably complete.
