The new double folded QSL cards have arrived on monday March 15 2010, special thanks to Emil  LZ3HI QSL Printservice, and will be written in the next coming days to get them ready for sending direct or by buro. Cards with IRC's takes a little longer, they are not available anymore in the Netherlands. So we have to get them from somewhere else to get these cards also in the mail soon. But they are coming.

The special QSL cards are coming, we had some trouble finding a printshop who would make a less number of cards then 1000. But we have found one for our double card.

Because of the marriage between Ruud (PA9RD) and Anneke (PB7YL), we wanted to do something special. After the marriage Anneke changed here callsign into PB7XYL. But that was only for Anneke, therefore we thought it was a nice idea to celebrate our marriage, in a carriage with two horses, with other hams all over the world. We asked for a special callsign just a few days before the happening. Unfortunally this didn't work in time, because of changing our  adress. So I left my Yaesu FT-897 and ATAS-120A at home on that big day.

"No mobile HF QSO's today!", I thought. We got the callsign alright, but to late, almost when the special call expiry date came up. (In Holland you get a special call only for sixteen days, now for 28 days). By that time the antennes were almost completely down, especially the ones for HF. Only a few stations here, in the area of Rotterdam, had the chance to work us on 2 Mtrs/144 MHz. After we had moved to our new QTH, we rebuild and put up the antennas again, getting ready for the Dutch PACC-contest, and we decided it was now the time to ask again for that same special callsign. And so we did, and for those who worked us on HF or VHF/UHF, we will have a special QSL card available. For this event we are going to make a double QSL-card with, ofcourse, a picture of us and the old church, from around mid 1300, in which we got married. If you like to get the special QSL-card,  and you're in the log, send us a SAE with your QSL card and we will send our special card to you. Otherwise we will send by buro.

SWL cards/reports are also welcome and will get the special QSL card.

NO GREEN STAMP, IRC'S OR EURO'S NEEDED, only  your own envelope with your name and adress zip code etc for the right info. (Then we don't have to look you up on QRZ or any other page).

Greetings and lots of HF fun from,

Ruud en Anneke Driessen
