FRANKLIN R. RODRIGUES DO Ó "Frank", PR7FRO, born January 02, 1959, in CAMPINA GRANDE, Paraiba, BRASIL. Master of Electronic and Telecommunications in the Redemptorist Technical School, in Campina Grande, 1978-83. Master Degree Electric/Electronic Engineer by Universidade Federal da Paraiba - UFPb, 1984; - Later, to be transformed in Universidade Federal de Campina Grande - UFCG. In many hams conventions, I and my dad Ed, PR7CPK we has talking about the very interesting amateur radio satellites program, sponsored by AMSAT-Amateur Radio Satellite Corporation, Washington, D. C. I am also specialized in GPS Railway Signal, with additional high technology and international training specialization as follow: Ansaldo, Italy, 1986; General Railway Signal - GRS, in Rochester and Chicago, U. S. A., 1988; Railway Signal, Telecommunication and Information System Engineering, Japan, 1997, sponsored by Japan International Cooperation Agency - JICA, Tokyo - Japan; Degree in Business Administrative by Universidade de São Paulo - USP, 2002; and many others continuous fields of research. Since 1984, I'm working in the General Operational Control Center Manager, of Companhia Vale do Rio Doce - CVRD, in São Luis - Maranhão. First licenced as PY7WAK on August 31, 1976. PR7FRO, since June 1st, 1978; CLUBE DE RADIOAMADORES DE CAMPINA GRANDE, member since 1972; LIGA DE AMADORES BRASILEIROS DE RÁDIO EMISSÃO - LABRE, member #35781 since 1975, and Life Member since 2001. Currently, active in all amateur bands in DX operation from São Luis Island, the place of the Lighthouse "Ilha do Medo" WLH-0226, DIB #007, and IOTA SA-016.
