AMAPA STATE - AMAZONIC REGION - 2009 DX-PEDITION

This dx-pedition will be held on August, 1st and 2nd 2009, when Alex (PY2WAS) will be activating Amapa State in the northern region of Brazil. It is considered as the most difficult Brazilian State (there are 27 States). At present, although there are licensed ham operators, there are not any active one. The last DX operation was held in 1997. Alex will operate from 10m to 80m, SSB and CW.

Esta expedição ocorrerá em 1 e 2 de agosto de 2009, quando o Alex (PY2WAS) estará ativando o Estado do Amapá na região norte do Brasil. Este Estado é considerado o mais difícil dos 27 Estados brasileiros. Atualmente, apesar de possuir operadores licenciados, não há operadores de DX ativos. A última operação em DX que se tem notícia data de 1997. Alex irá operar de 10m a 80m, SSB e CW.
