Hello! A long time (scince 1990-s) my favorite hobby was DX-ing on the Low Bands. A lot of time I spend on the Top Band.Setup was: FT1000MP Mark V Field (all W8JI mods+ new Mike W2AJI roofing filter mods), Inrad filters and power amplifier ZZ-750 (600wt on 160m band). Antenna:160/80m Inverted Vee on TX, K98 from RA6LBS on RX with preamp RPA-1 16dB. For HF a simple 14/21/28 Mhz tribander. DXCC resuilt on 160m: 111 wkd/110 cfm, 24/25 WAZ zones. DXCC 160m #1458 received in 2008. I have a LowBandDXing from John Devoldere ON4UN 4-d edition with a personal John ON4UN autograph! Now I'm active on VHF ONLY Current setup on VHF: FT-736x, 9 el yagi 144MHz / 18 el yagi 432MHz / 50 el yagi 1296 MHz and LNA on every VHF band. My 144 MHz tropo ODХ 1027km, MS ODX 2007km, via Aurora 1070km. 432 MHz tropo ODX 1027km, 1296 MHz tropo ODX 365km on 10wt output. I'm a member of national QSL buro, SRR-member and QSL via buro is ok for me. I answer every QSL card received. Only. via buro it might take a long time. so if you really need a QSL card soon, please QSL via direct to my address in QRZ.COM. Please do not forget a SASE or postage (1 US-$ within Europe, 2 US-$ outside Europe) or the equivalent in IRCs. No or too little postage might result in QSLs replied via buro only. Good luck and DX! 73! de RA4SD, Alexey Last modified: 2011-11-15 06:35:51, 1627 bytes fetched
