Amateur radio station SN17BN ( affiliated to Amateur Radio Club SP5YES ) will be active on the air from 1st to 30th November 2009,  on the occasion of the "XVII Independence Street's Running in Lukow" under the auspices of Lukow City Council.

Presenting the work of an amateur radio station we want to bring , mostly to young people, such a beautiful hobby which is undoubtedly Amateur Radio (not to be confused with CB).

Running will take place on 11th November 2009  on streets of Lukow city, in order to :
- celebrate the 91st anniversary of Independence  Restoration of Poland - Polish Independence Day
- commemorate 776th anniversary  of the town of Lukow
- commemorate the 606th anniversary of granting the Magdeburg's City Rights to town
- popularization of running among children, young and adults

Organizers of the event are:
- Mayor of Lukow City
- Sports and Recreation Center in Lukow

Radiostacja amatorska SN17BN (Rodzinnego Klubu Krótkofalowców SP5YES) jest aktywna w eterze od 1 do 30 listopada 2009r z okazji XVII Łukowskich Ulicznych Biegów Niepodległości pod patronatem Rady Miasta  Łuków. Prezentując pracę radiostacji amatorskiej chcemy przybliżyć głównie młodzieży to piękne hobby jakim niewątpliwie jest krótkofalarstwo (nie należy mylić z CB).
