RULES OF THE „BIESZCZADY” AWARD 1. The rule is given by the POLISH SCOUTS AMATEUR RADIOSTATION “GĄBKA” SP8ZKX in Ustrzyki Dolne. 2. The result this award is popularization the Bieszczady Mountains, their nature and touristy values and knowledge of history and tradition. 3. The award is given since 1 January 1995 for contacts (QSO&SWL) mode for SP and foreign ones. 4. The rule contains contacts made at all band HF/VHF and all modes. 5. Only one QSO or SWL with the same station may be made at the band or mode. 6. The award is given for getting 100 points for QSO or SWL for SP stations or 70 for QSO or SWL in other countries. 7. Points: 15 – for contact with scouts station SP8ZKX or SP8ZIY from normal QTH, 20 – for contact with scouts station SP8ZKX/P or SP8ZIY/P from other area, 10 – for contact with other scouts (ZHP) stations in Bieszczady Mountains, 10 – for contact with winners “BIESZCZADY” Award, 5 – for contact with other amateur stations in Bieszczady Mountains, 5 – for contact with member of the Scouts Amateur Radio Station SP8ZKX or SP8ZIY, 5 – for contacts with stations from the Bieszczady National Park or from sport gliders aero ports in Bezmiechowej – Sonnet & Ustianowa – Żuków, 3 – for contacts with station from area of Baligród, Cisna, Czarna, Komańcza, Solina and cities: Lesko, Ustrzyki Dolne, Zagórz. 8. The cost of this award is 7 $US or 10 IRC or 10 EURO. 10. For members of the LKK (Lviv Shortwave Club) this award is free. 11. The finally translating of the rule belongs to Award Manager only.
