It was a small holiday-type DX-pedition to Zakynthos (Zante) Island, Greece (IOTA ref: EU-052, MIA ref: MG-138, WLOTA ref: L-0209, ARLHS ref: GRE-081).

The callsign is SV8HA8KW (yes, no slash "/" in it!) that has been used for a week between 24th july and 1st August, 2005. Some surrounding small islands were planned also to be visited (e.g. Maratonisi) signing SV8HA8KW/P, but there was no electric network neither I took a generator with me.

During the 2005-year IOTA Contest dates (30-31 July, 2005) J48KW special callsign has been working as a 12-hour Low Power CW only entry.

Equipment and antennas were: Icom IC-751A (100W), GP's and Wires.

Outside the contest there was mainly CW (some SSB) operation using all HF bands except 160m due to lack of place for suitable aerial.

QSL cards for both SV8HA8KW and J48KW callsigns should be sent to HA8KW either direct (Ferenc Provics, P.O. Box 620, Szeged-1, Hungary, H-6701) or via the HA-bureau.

My QSL policy note: Each contact is preferably confirmed with bureau-card, however, any direct request incoming any time with sufficient return postage (1 USD or 1 new-style IRC or 1 EUR) is answered direct even if a bureau-card has already been sent out. A direct request without return postage will be handled as if it came through the bureau.
