Feb 2014 - Heading back soon. I should be QRV in lat Feb

3 April 2012 - Back on the air as of today. I'll be here until o/a 1 June, back again o/a 1 July. My license expires sometime in May. I am working on the renewal. I am hoping that it will be done before the current license expires.

I've added some noise mitigation to the station to reduce the QRN on the lower bands. It appears to have made a difference. I should be able to do more operating on 40m and 20m.

SWL reports request: all SWL report requests must include the callsigns of at least two worked.

6 Oct 2011: Zero-Five antenna arrived about a week ago. I've added 5 more DXCC entries and have noticed a huge improvement in the performance of the station. New firewire card arrive as well which fixed the flex-3000 problem. Station is back to full strength.

13 Sep 2011: ZeroFive antennas (zerofive-antennas.com) is providing a 10m-40m vertical groundplane antenna at a deeplydiscounted price to improve the station's performance. I hope to have it up and QRO in about 2 weeks. The zerofive gp should be a huge improvement to the station.

Station currently consists of a ts-850 and flex-3000. The flex is currently down pending arrival of a new firewire cardwhich I hope will fix the problem. If not, the flex will have to go back for repairs.

Current antenna is a 40m Vee Dipole approximately 75 feet up on the roof of my QTH. I have wire for a 20mdelta loop on order.
