The TC4X callsign was used to promote the friendship between two countries and activate the 4th Turkish prefix in the Work All Europe (WAEDC) and other competitions. The station was located on a beautiful seafront in Antalya.

TC4X was on the air for the last time in 2010 CQ WW CW Contest, 27-28 November 2010. OH2PM was the operator.

TC4X was first activated between August 5th and 12th, 2008. The team included TA1HZ, OH2BH, OH2PM and OH8NC and others.

As of the beginning of May 2011, the station is disassambled. According to the Turkish regulations, as TC4X is a special callsign it can be used by any other ham as long as permission is obtained from Kiyi Emniyeti Genel Mudurlugu, Telsiz Isletme Mudurlugu.
