Thanks for dropping by.chances are we have either had a QSO or are in the midst of one as you read this. While I have had many different rigs since being licensesd in 1982, I normally run theTen-Tec Omni V or Ten-Tec Corsair II. I also run QRP with the Ten-Tec Argosy, Ten-Tec 1340 as well as the extremely portable PFR-3 from time to time. I love older radios (especially the broken ones) and have as much fun fixing older gear as I do operating. I have had numerous calls over the years as a result of many transfers with the Force around the country. Some prev callsigns were: VE7EKT, VE4ZZS, VE4ZS, VE7ARS, VA3ZW, VE7AX and my latest, VA3IED. I enjoy CW mostly but will work SSB as well from time to time. Unfortunately, the more I listen to the nonsense on SSB the more inclined I am to work CW to get away from the appliance operators. 30m is a real favorite. Antennas are modest--dipoles and an inverted L on the lower bands with a Hex beam for 15-17-20. I enjoy experimenting a lot with antennas as well. I use the QRZ.com for logging and will some day, get around to printing new Cards. If you wish to QSL direct (I seem to get a few of those and don't know why) send me an email first to ensure I have something to return! Hope to hear you again
