Hi. Thank you for the "FUN" contact. I 100% QSL if you send me your card with an SASE. Stateside, $1.05 Canadian stamp ONLY please (USA stamps can not be used to mail letters from Canada), or an SAE with one green stamp(US dollar). DX stations two green stamps and SAE please or bureau. Please no eQSL or LOTW ****Some people can't read**** deviation from QSL instructions above will result in reply via Bureau, perhaps once a year! I have retired my Yaesu FT901 preWARC hybrid and now run either a Yaesu FT2000D, or a Yaesu FT-857D exciting into a 5-band Spiderbeam (20-17-15-12-10M) rotated by an old Hy-gain Tailtwister at 35' above ground. A 40 meter halfwave, trapped, inverted "V" dipole was attached to the tower. Since purchasing the FT2000D I have added a Cushcraft 6M beam on my roof facing east. My QTH is at the bottom of a river valley but I have managed to make a few 6M QSO's! My original homebrew attic multi-dipole for 20-15-10M provided lots of "FUN" and has now been delegated as backup! I have joined the ARLHS (mbr #1445) and look forward to working many Lighthouses! The FT-857D was purchased to get portable and activate some Canadian Islands in Alberta for CISA program! A used touring kayak and a buddipole antenna have been added to the "FUN" pile. I managed to activate five new islands and receive CISA numbers for them during the summers of 2009 & 2010! The FT-857D is currently interfaced with my Dell using a SignaLink USB for PSK31, watch for the "FUN" callsign on your waterfall!!! I have joined the SKCC member #6073 and QRP ARCI member #14324. Listen for me slow poking my way through CW QSO's using a vintage Signal Electric straight key as I try and improve my copy. Hi Hi. I just picked up a pair of Heathkit QRP CW rigs. An HW-8 and HW-9 with band pack, just to make things harder. Wish me luck! SOTA and ARLHS Ops please QRS!!!!! A couple of Rockmite40 QRPp rigs are finished, I'm now looking to make QRPp QSO's, please listen on 7.028 & 7.029Mhz or 7.120 & 7.121Mhz and watch www.QRPspots.com! WooHoooo*** my first RockMite QRPp QSO with Ed, W7GVE in Golden Valley AZ, 2473 km with less than 1/2 watt and inverted V antenna! Now we're having "FUN"! Second QRPp RockMite QSO with Lawrence VE7BOX, Clearwater B.C. 577 km across the Rockie Mountain's! Third QRPp RockMite QSO with Brian K7TKT, Meridian Idaho, 1203 km! Fourth QRPp RockMite QSO with Stewart KE7LKW, White Salmon WA, 1133 km! I am now test driving my newly built ATS-4a from my home QTH. If you hear me, please work me! Smoky Lake (pop.1100, 100 km N.E. of the City of Edmonton) is the "Pumpkin Capital of Alberta" and hosts the annual "Great White North Pumpkin Fair and Weigh-Off" the first weekend in Oct.
