I have been an amateur since July 2000 . I am very active on VHF, I.R.L.P. & H.F. I am the local Emergency Cooridinator for our A.R.E.S. group here in Thunder Bay , Ontario, Canada . I also sit on the board of our local radio club, the LAKEHEAD AMATEUR RADIO CLUB. There is so much to learn, & specfic areas to specialze in this great hoppy, but I really enjoy the operating end of it. I am net control & net manager for our local 2m net, net control on a IRLP net as well as net control for the NORTHWESTERN ARES NET on 80M, Wednesday night's at 8:15pm ET. I belong to SATERN, RAC, LARC, ARES, & ECOA
