Original callsign was VE7BTO issued in 1965, and still have that call and will respond to QSL requests.LOTW is preferred qsl method for non dx qso's, but will answer all requests if accompanied with SASE.

Life's work was broadcast technician in Vancouver, Canada from 1960 to 2000, for Rogers Broadcasting Limited. The last 16 years as chief engineer at CKWX AM 50KW and CKKS-FM 75KW ERP and assorted other smaller bdcst concerns in the Fraser Valley. I am an advanced ham since 1966.

Main operating modes are RTTY, SSB and some CW. Eqpt at VE7CF is: Icom 756Pro3, Kenwood TL-922 amplifier. Antennas are 8-el Tennadyne T-8 at 50ft, and 4-el 6M yagi at 56ft.

In the summer, you'll find me on the golf course trying to keep my handicap below 16. But, if there is a RTTY contest running, I'll be in there slugging away.
