Located in the St. Croix River Valley, on the Canada - USA border. St. Stephen is a small town with a population of about 5000.
The international boundary is the St. Croix River, which is a tidal river with about 7 meters of tide, twice daily.
This makes for an ever-changing landscape.

About me
I first became interested in radio in the 70’s - 80’s. I spent a lot of time on 11 meter ssb and after being lucky enough to make a few european contacts with 12 watts, I was hooked.
In 1992 I passed my Basic Amateur license and a few years later passed my Advanced.
Special thanks go to my Elmer, VE1ABL, now a silent key.
I was away from radio for a few years, but as of the winter of 2008, I'm back on the air, and am really enjoying it!
Active on 80, 40, 20, 17, 15, 12, and 10 meters.
Presently studying CW.
I enjoy DX'ing or a good rag chew.
Hope to hear you on the band soon!
