VK100WIA It has also helped to focus renewed attention on the early history of amateur radio in this country through careful research in a way not previously known to have occurred. The unique callsign is to be operated by WIA affiliated clubs on a roster basis May through to October 2010 at more than 50 locations around Australia. Contact with that station can also qualify for the WIA Centenary Award. The VK100WIA callsign will first go on air on Friday 14th May with President Michael Owen VK3KI operating.
