My name is Hans. I was born 27/7/40 in Utrecht, The Netherlands. My parents, 3 brothers and one sister emigrated to Australia in 1952. I have lived in Melbourne and Sydney (first licensed NSW, 1970) and since 1978 in the Adelaide area. My XYL is Lesley. Her callsign is VK5LOL, previously VK5HLS (see her QRZ entry).

We moved house on 5th Nov., 2010 to the southern suburbs of Adelaide.

The major part of my working life was with IBM, in the computer industry, partly in technical roles and partly non-technical, retired now. I am a member of the Wireless Institute of Australia (WIA) and also of the Adelaide Hills Amateur Radio Society (AHARS). See www.ahars.com.au
