UPDATE: 22 Dec 2009 As of today, the second big batch of direct QSL replies is on its way ! Meanwhile I double-checked a few NIL's, fixed and confirmed some QSOs with busted calls, as well as replied the QSL's that didn't contain any SAE - all those that required extra time to have them sorted out. So, if you had sent your direct QSL in 2009 and haven't received any reply within early January 2010, please email me to see if there is anything wrong and make sure that you will get your QSL. Just for your interest, for the ones that want their QSL via the bureau: Happy DXing and see you at the next contest !
Dear fellow hams, I am very happy to let you know that today I shipped out 99% of the incoming direct QSL requests, having left behind the ones without SAE that require extra time as well as the NILs, in order to cross-check them once more.
Greetings YLs and OM ! I am one of VP8YL's expedition to Falklands (thanks t Bob VP8LP and Janet VP8AIB who apart from superb operators happen to be great people as well - Their hosting made me feel better than my home) and we will be on air between 17-31 January 2009 working mostly on SSB (I have a Profi 2 paddle with me for CW skeds). QSL to home call SV2KBS. Please enclose 1$ (or 1 IRC) for return postage as well as a SAE. Apart from bureau and direct QSL'ing I will also upload my logs to LoTW as soon as I go back home. A total of 11 YLs will be heard during the two weeks time of operations; 6 international with different calls of the block VP8YLx plus 5 locals that will use the clubstation call VP8YLC. You can always check the VP8YL's page for updates, news and operating schedules: http://www.radioclubs.net/aa_vp8yl_/ See you in the pileup - Happy DXing and experimenting ! 73/88 de Victoria VP8YLG / SV2KBS / LA7VPA Last modified: 2011-11-11 21:59:15, 5080 bytes cached
