Special Event Station -- Opening of the War of 1812. W3FT will be on the air
Saturday June 16, 2012 2:00 pm-9:00 pm (1800z-0100z) and Sunday June 17,
2012 3:00 pm-9:00 pm. (1900z-0100z). We are looking to have a grand time at
the facility inviting new people in the community to learn about amateur
radio. We will have hotdogs on the grill, people on the air celebrating the
start of the WAR of 1812 The blue Angels will be flying over the Baltimore
Harbor, Ft. McHenry will be rockin', and we will be lighting up the air
waves. This event is in preparation for the 2014 celebration that is
planned. It will help advertise the event and it gets folks in the mode of
operating a special event which is the total opposite of contesting and
normal operating habits Come on out and join us. QSL by sending QSL Card and
