Hello Everyone,

The hobby has entertained me for 56 years. My ham career started out with converted military surplus radios which were plentiful in that period of time. Home brewing accessories came next (power supplies, modulators, receiving converters etc.). Of course antennas have been a passion from the beginning. Over the years I have operated fixed and mobile from various states across the country and operated out of Windsor, England for a two year period under the call sign of G5BOL. It was great to be on the DX side of the QSO and I feel the experience made me a better operator when I returned to the states. I enjoy all modes and have explored the frequencies up to 10ghz. 160m, 40m,15m, 10m and 6m are my favorite bands. There are a number of vintage radios in my station. They are all operational and used frequently. I keep them around because I can still maintain and repair them. I have to say that they do get heavier each year and one day I won't be able to lift some of them. I'm looking forward to having a QSO with you.

73 & Good DX

Ben
