I am in Washington County and my grid square is DM37ee. First licensed in 1954, as a teenager in southwestern Minnesota, I have held the following calls: W0VTZ, EL2C, EP2PR, K4HLJ and N4VZ. I have held W7UT since January 2000. My first rig as a novice was a homebrew single 6L6 and a Hallicrafters S20R receiver. After upgrading to General, I also upgraded my equipment to a Viking II and a National NC-183D. Current station includes two K3's, and Emtron DX-2sp, Alpha 8410 & Command VHF-2000 linears. I am a member of A-1 Operator Club, The CW Operators' Club, QCWA, Utah's Dixie DX & Contest Club, the American Legion Amateur Radio Club, and a Life Member of the ARRL. I am a former member of FOC (#1449). My major interests are DX'ing and contesting. Some of the awards I hold are: DXCC Top of the Honor Roll (SSB & Mixed); DXCC Honor Roll (CW - just lacking P5 to have them all); 8BDXCC; 5BWAZ (1990); the first (#1) WAZ's issued on 12M & 17M (both CW & SSB); 160M WAZ (all 40 zones); and DXCC Challenge (3,000 level). I am a participant in Logbook of the World (LOTW). If, however, you still wish a regular QSL card from W7UT, please send direct and be considerate enough to include an SASE. Those who do are guaranteed a return QSL.
