Originally licensed in the summer of 1977 as WD8OKN while a freshman in high school. Those were sweeeet days, WD8NMB and WD8OKN studying code in the lunch room.

Antennas are a ground mounted Butternut vertical, a 30m dipole and a random wire for 160m through 6m. I am always experimenting with antennas, so who knows what I was using when we communicated. I am finding that the Butternut is the best of them all.

My hobbies also include music (been a percussionists since 5 years old, singer all my life and a studio musician), photography, writing and SCUBA diving.

My FISTS number is 11181 and I spend 90% or more of my time on CW, but enjoy all modes.
