Hello and thanks for stopping by. As you can see from the picture I am in the desert at one of the most desolate, god awful places I have ever encountered, Udairi. On the border of Iraq and Kuwait it’s not the end of the world but you can see it from here. Having traveled the world in my fifty years I have been lucky to end up in great DX places. Johnston Island, Kwajalein, Egypt and yeah, even this place gives me the opportunity to make lemonade for a year. I am working mobile most of the time with an IC-703. I send and receive CW manually so if I send at 12 or 10 wpm please answer at the same speed, otherwise, I’ll just ignore you. When I work PSK with the dust filled laptop the keys stick often so excuse the lousy spelling and grammar. However I like to QSO, what do you do for a living, do have any kids, what kind of music do you like and so on. Please don’t hit the macro key and tell you’ve got a Tandy 1000 running MS-DOS 2.1 and Bed Pan Software. That bores me to death. I QSL but make my own cards. They're not pretty but they count. I’ve been in the US Army for 30 plus years and have considered retiring as soon as I figure out what I want to do when I grow up.
