I have been licensed since 1991, when I was a Technician Plus, and have worked my way up over the years to where I am now. I'm fairly active, being involved in DXing, contesting, storm spotting, and much more. I am also becoming more interested in photography; I am working on a couple of projects that highlight this. I belong to the Straight Key Century Club (SKCC #228), the North American QRP CW Club (NAQCC #5656) the Penn-Ohio DX Society 070 Club (PODXS 070 #1404), the European PSK Club (EPC #15817), the Digital Modes Club (#4652), the Hellenic PSK Club (HPC #76), QRP Amateur Radio Club International (QRP ARCI #14661), the Flying Pigs (FP #2809) and the 30 Meter Digital Group (30MDG #5074) as well as being a proud member of the American Radio Relay League and a charter member of the Texas Radio Zone. Currently I use a Yaesu FT-857D with mostly 20 watts to an end-fed random wire at 15 feet for HF (10-80m). I have begun to experiment with QRP operating, with some success. Operating modes include CW/SSB/AM/FM/Digital; I now use PSK, Olivia and RTTY, as well as other digital modes except for WSJT (at least for now). I have slowly but surely begun experimenting with analog (MMSSTV) and digital SSTV (KG-STV); digital voice is in the works with FDMDV and WinDRM being configured now. Please QSL direct with SASE or by eQSL and the W1 bureau. I do NOT use LOTW.
