Hello from Mexico City!:

I have been in the amateur radio since 1961. This is much more than a hobby for me, it´s a very important part of my life.

My station is as follows:

Kenwood TS 950 SDX, monitor scope SM 230, Kenwood TL-922-A linear amplifier, Ten-Tec Titan linear amplifier, Icom 756 Pro III, Icom 706 MKII G and the VHF Engineering L. Amp. 160W. Computers: Hewlett-Packard Pavilion W/7, 64 b. and Sony Vaio. Interface: West Mountain´s RIGblaster Plus.
Antenna System: TH7 DXX tribander Yagi w/ Tail Twister, Cushcraft CD-2 40 meters monobander. Inverted V´s for 75 and 160 meters bands. 6 elements yagi for 144 Mhz and vertical antenna for 440 Mhz. Tower up to 80 ft.
I am operating all possible modes, including the digital ones: Digital voice over SSB, (FDMDV) Easypal (Digital pictures), MMSSTV (Analog pictures), MMTTY (Teletype) Packtor, Echolink, Skype (xe1rk73), and of course a lot of CW. Since the arrival of TV satellites I am running my 5 meters diameter TVRO dish with a 4DTV General Instrument digital / analog receiver with a descrambler unit connected to a plasma 52" HDTV set. (I love the PBS programming.)If you discover any new high definition TV satellites or transponders on bands "C," "Ka "or "Ku", please let me know.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mi estación se compone de los siguiente:

Kenwood TS 950 SDX, Monitor SM 230, amplificador lineal Titán de TenTec,amplificador lineal Kenwood TL-922-A , Icom 756 Pro III, Icom 706 MKII G y amplificador VHF Engineering de 160 W. Computadoras: Hewlett-Packard Pavilion-W7, 64 bits y Sony Vaio. Interfase West Mountain´s RigBlaster Plus.
