The team of Teresina DX Group is preparing a DXpedition to the Canary Island (IOTA 072 DIB MA-05 DFB MA-11 ) on the coast of Piaui, Brazil.

This DXpedition is in honor of the memory of Doctor Flávio Araújo Fontenele - PS8BBC (this callsign is holded today by Ray, Flávio´s father).

Will be  starting the 16:00 UTC the day 29 april and end 3 May 2009.

The operations include bands from 160 to 10 meters (SSB, CW, PSK31 and RTTY), including 6 meters, 144 MHz ( SSB / FM / CW )  and is the type of satellites ( SSB / FM / CW ): AO-7 ( A and B ), FO-29, AO-51, VO-52, SO-50, AO-27 and ISS in repeater mode if active.
