Formerly licensed as KI4VQQ. I received my amateur license in May 2007. I tested through Technician and straight to General class. I upgraded to Extra in March 2008 and received the vanity call AK4IK in May 2008. Changed to KM4IK in October 2011. I'm running an Elecraft K3/P3 combo to either a Traffie HX-5Bi five-band hex beamfor 10m-20m or an 88' doubletfor 40m and 80m.In the mobile I run a Yaesu FT-857D with a Little Tarheel II for HF and Diamond 2m/70cm antenna on V/UHF. I enjoy operating SSB and PSK31 on most bands, 80m-10m HF and 2m mobile VHF/UHF. I'm active in the North Fulton (Georgia) Amateur Radio League (http://www.nfarl.org) and the Southeastern DX Club (http://www.sedxc.org)and am an ARRL and 10-X International member ( 10-X #74624, New South #2038, MandM #FM25).
