I commenced operation on the 7th May 2010 from the Ilhe Do Cabo approximately 50 metres from the beach in the capital Luanda, and my activation ceased operation in July 2010.

Apologies for the delay returning all direct QSL card requests. The backlog of cards have now been completely cleared and posted out as of the 1st August 2011.

Working conditions were an Icom IC7000, 100 Watts output, MFJ 929 Auto Atu and Inverted V resonant wire antennae for 17 & 20m 10m agl, Full size G5RV 15m agl and Multiband homebrew vertical 25m agl.

I was QRV on 40 to 10 metres including WARC bands using SSB and CW.

I transmitted on the following frequencies +/- 10 kHz to allow for QRM.

SSB7.063 MHz, 14.190 MHz, 18.133 MHz, 21.253 MHz, 24.953MHz and 28.500 MHz.

CW 3.503 MHz, 7.003 MHz, 10.103 MHz, 14.003 MHz, 18.073 MHz, 21.003 MHz, 24.893 MHz and 28.003 MHz +/- to allow for qrm.

If you would like an EQSL, I will send you one upon receipt of yours, however my preferred method of confirming
our qso is direct with paper cards.

D2AK is approved by the ARRL for DXCC credit.

Apologies I do not participate in LOTW.

I hope that for many of you, I can give you a new DXCC entity and therefore help you towards your DXCC and
other awards etc. As I expect the openings to be very short, please be courteous to your fellow operators and me,
and do not call when I have acknowledged a station. This will minimise the qrm and delay, thereby allowing me to
maximise the number of stations that I can possibly contact within the small opening time available.
