GB4WINGS is a special event callsign for the radio communications activity at WINGS 2009 (see the website).

This took taking place in Windsor Great Park in the first week of August. We were QRV on HF & 2m during the day and some evenings.

The event was a great succes and we made approx 500 QSOs over the week (remembering that we entertained 4000+ young people during the week).

I'm in the process of entering the paper logs and producing ADIF files to upload to eQSL & LoTW and to send cards direct. This is taking loger than expected, so please bear with me.

QSL cards missing - It would appear that approxamatly 125 QSL cards from the RGSB bureau sub-manger have gone missing in the British (Royal Mail) postal system (this is not the sub-manager or RSGBs fault). I have noway of determining who these may have been from.

I'm still trying to get the data into ADIF files, so Ihaven't sent any cards yet. I will work on the cards and send cards to all those contacts we made. I will ensure there is a note on cards going to contacts, that I have notreceived a card from you. I will get all contacts into eQSL and LoTW.
