Originally licensed in 1962 in Turtle Creek, PA. Main interests are contesting and DX. Equipment: Elecraft K3, Acom 2000A amplifier, Force 12 5BA antenna for 20 - 10 meters (at 50 feet), A Force 12 Delta 240 shorty-forty on 40m (@ 55 feet) and a full-sized delta loop for 80 meters (at 45 ft). I have an inverted L on 160m with a little more than 40 feet vertical & using a raised single counterpoise 6 feet above the ground. Proud member of the Minnesota Wireless Association and the Twin City DX Association. Went to HKø San Andres Island for the 2007 CQWW CW contest. Beginning November 21, 2011, look for me as VP2MWT on the island of Montserrat B.W.I. I will be there until November 30th. During the CQWW CW contest, I'll be part of a Minnesota-based team from the Twin City DX Association (TCDXA) and the Minnesota Wireless Association (MWA) using the VP2MWG callsign. VP2MWG will also be used during the ARRL 160 meter contest (operated by N0AT and WøOR).
