Continously licensed since 1975. Ex Navy. Currently working as a Unix Software Engineer at Oracle USA. Active on 20m CW or Digital modes. Author of assorted software for ham operators. I copy CW at 25wpm+. I like electronics and computers. I build a lot of my own gear or at the very least I modify it.

I just did a major remodel of the shack in Jan 2013. It's the cleanest it will ever be. So I uploaded a new picture.

I use Elecraft radios exclusively. I have a K3, KX3, K2, and a KX1. I have a 40m-10m homebrew 43 foot vertical. And a 80m dipole I use on occasion. My entire QTH runs off solar. When the sun is up.
