The Arizona Outlaws Contest Club has been selected to be the ARRL HQ station
for the upcoming 2012 IARU HF Championship.
(1200Z, Jul 14 to 1200Z, Jul 15)
As a designated official IARU HQ member-society station, the exchange will be: RS(T) + ARRL.
Several Arizona Outlaw Contest Club Members will take turns as W1AW/7 guest operators
at as many as twelve separate locations throughout the State of Arizona.
Our station (K7FA) has been selected to be among one of those designated stations.
on 20 meter SSB
Located at 4070 ft. MSL on the western slope of the Cerbat Mountain range, our station will be
using yagis on three towers: 20M6A @ 155 Ft. AGL, TH7DX @ 85 Ft. AGL, 20M4DX @ 35 Ft. AGL.
Primary rig will be K3 and Alpha-9500, with backup hardware FT1000MP and AL-800H.

ARRL FD 2011 Class 3A - Public Campgrounds 6,100 MSL CW Op. K7FA surprised (but elated) about photo opportunity.
All three stations ran Barefoot - Results: Excellent Rates; Ran and Ran, never depleted callers.
Licensed Ham Radio Operators and other members of the public were impressed by our operation.
In particular, parents of four small children were amazed that I could make sense out of dits and dahs.
Two of their children were just as impressed by the running water in the motorhome toilet . . .
