You will find me mostly on CW for DX and contesting (all bands), but I also enjoy RTTY, SSB and a good ragchew.
I especially like to work QRP when the conditions are right.

New for 2010 is a second tower for VHF, holding the 6m and 2m arrays:

The top-level photo is my 2005 Lamborghini Gallardo. The car is great for navigating the winding mountain roads here.
No, I have not drilled holes in it to install a mobile rig or antenna! You will find me mobile in my Chevy pickup (which no one wants to look at!)

Check out the pair of "Then and Now" photos, below. On the left, that's me operating my first station at age 16 in 1968 (WB2DLJ). Note the
now-classic Harvey-Wells T-90 Bandmaster transmitter on the left. In late 2010, I restored one just like it (who knows, maybe it's the same one) for
use on 80m AM, and CW for "Classic Exchange" and similar nostalgic events.

TO MY JAPANESE FRIENDS
I appreciate the many cards I receive via the Bureau. I will reply with a QSL card for all contacts with new stations,
and for repeat contacts on different bands or modes. It is not practical (or especially useful, for awards or other purposes)
to reply with a QSL card for every contact, particularly repeat contacts on bands and modes that have already been confirmed.
I will reply 100% to all cards sent direct, regardless of band or mode.

73, and see you on the bands!
