I received my Technician Class license in March 2010 and passed my General Class license exam in June 2011. My rig consists of a Yaesu FT-857 and a home-brewed PAC-12 antenna. As of February 2012, I power my equipment using a solar array. I am proud and honored to serve as the vice president of the Davie/Cooper City Amateur Radio Club. We're a group of about 50-plus members located in western Broward County, Fla. We are a 'radio active' club, participating in monthly outings to operate our gear in the elements. I am alumna and currently a graduate student at the University of Florida. If you are a fellow Gator please make mention of it when we talk! I look forward to making your contact, and if I already have, I hope we meet again on the airwaves soon! 73!
A quick note about QSLs I confirm QSOs via Logbook of the World. I am in the process of designing QSL cards with my new call sign. If you send (or have sent) a card, I will return the favor as soon as mine are printed. My apologies up front for the delay and thank you for being patient!
