I am 78 years old and have been a Ham for 34 years. I like CW. You can usually find me
on or near 7.035Mhz. and/or when conditions are good, on or near 14.035Mhz. operating
from about 1100hrs. to 1500hrs. GMT. My radio is a Yaesu FT-950. My antenna is a Alpha
Delta DXCC 100 multi-band "shortened dipole" installed in my attic. My F.I.S.T. No. is
9787 and SKCC No. is 1634. I am retired from the United States Air Force and retired
from The State of New York, 1972-1992. I served 20 years in the Air Force from 1952 to
1972. I was in Pusan, Korea, 1952 and 1953. I was a Flight Engineer (Flight Mechanic)
on Douglas Invader B-26 and flew 38 missions over North Korea. Also was in Da Nang,
Viet Nam (Crew Chief on North American F-100s 1965 and then again at Cam Rahn Bay 1969, Flight Line Maintanance/Crew Cheif on Cessna O-1s and O-2s (Forward Air Controller FAC.)
