Greetings!

My radios are all Elecraft. I have two K3/100s and K2 QRP git up 'n go rig.

At the Blaine QTH (Grainger County, Grid EM86ee) I have an AB-621 (about 55' to the boom) sporting a 4 element SteppIr with 80M vee supported below. During contest season, the antennas can vary some. On 40M I have been very pleased with an inverted Delta Loop, but am using a single 40M vertical with two raised radials at the moment. I have  two vertical elements for 40 (EU/OC), but need to finish the phasing and matching network. For 160, I have on a top loaded 72' vertical which has stood up well during high wind situations. I completed WAS on 160M LP (all during 2005 ARRL160, one weekend) and am working on 160M QRP WAS. I am working on 160M DXCC Low Power (142 worked, 122 confirmed, 28 zones). Trying to finish 10M WAS but not having a lot of luck with WV and DE confirmations on either LoTW or eQSL.

My partner, in the picture, a non-Ham, helped me with the installation of the 80M vertical, 160M vertical, SteppIr and many other weird configurations. Rita has helped bury radials. She's also been very supportive during contests, a true keeper! .and I did (or she did?) as of 19 August 2006, we are Mr. & Mrs.

I QSL all who send cards, sometimes I get way behind, and I apologize to anyone waiting on cards. Would like to see more folks posting logs on LOTW and eQSL, I do upload all of my logs.

Contesting is my main activity and I've been fortunate. Currently, I hold the ARRL160 SOLP Division/Section/State records and in CQ WW DX CW SOLP 160 and 80 US records. I held the IARU CW QRP record, this one is history as of 2009. Managed to win the 2009 US SOQRP in CQ WPX SSB, for my first major contest plaque. I enjoy state QSO parties as well as DX contests. Primarily a CW operator, although I do drop by the SSB segments from time to time and have become active on RTTY.

Look forward to logging you throughout the contest year. I'm part of the Tennessee Contest Group (TCG).

I was fortunate enough to be the 2009 and 2010 Tennessee Contest Group Facilitator. We had good years overall with growth of the group, the Tennessee QSO Party and great participation in a bunch of contests (not to mention a few wins here and there!).

I've done a number of QRP mobile operations in the TnQP and WVQP and hope to get on the road in 2012 with a new mobile antenna.
