Code of Ethics

The NFCC, Inc., in recognition of the importance of efforts to coordinate amateur radio repeater and link frequencies in the United States and thereby helping to provide quality amateur radio communications with the minimal amount of interference possible, commit ourselves and our organization to the highest levels of personal and organizational conduct and agree:

1. to avoid real or perceived conflicts of interest whenever possible, and to disclose them to affected parties when they do exist;

2. to be honest and realistic in committing to provide services;

3. to reject favoritism in all its forms;

4. to improve the understanding of the technology of frequency coordination, its appropriate application and potential consequences;

5. to seek, accept, and offer honest criticism of our collective actions, to acknowledge and correct errors, and to credit properly the contribution of others;

6. to treat fairly all persons regardless of such factors as their race, religion, gender, disability, age, national origin or amateur radio club or political affiliation(s);

7. to assist local and state frequency coordination entities in their development and to support them to better the science and art of frequency coordination at the local, state and national level.
