Hi!

My name is Akshay, and my call is VA7AAX. I got my Basic+ ticket in 2006.

I am interested in anything that has to do with Amateur Radio! I regularly participate in emergency communications. I also enjoy 2m FM, attending Hamfests, vintage radios,foxhunting, andthe occasionalHF contesting.The event I enjoy the most is Field Day because I like to meet hams and discuss various things in amateur radio.I like to homebrew, specially small receivers and station accessories.

Things I would like to do in Amateur Radio are Satellite Operations, and VHF contesting.

I am not able to go on HF as much as I like due to heavy antenna restrictions. But I like listening to 20m DX, and40m/30m CW.

You may also hear me with the call KF7EIY when I am in the US.

On top of all my amateur radio activity, I am also a full-time student in engineering.
