The Amateur Radio Operators will be setting up on the 13th ,of April, under the call of W4S, special event station, the time frame is from 8:00 am on the 14th to 5:00 pm on the 15th,Saturday and Sunday, on these two days, for the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, this will be a international event to contact amateur radio stations all over the worldTenTec will be furnishing us the new TenTec Eagle 599 to use for this great event that will be the second time held here in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. We will have a web-cam setup along with TV and Radio coverage of this event, QST will also cover the event. We will be setup at the rear of the attraction on Hwy 441 in Pigeon Forge TN, we are looking for amateurs who would like to operate and hope that everyone will attend and join in on the event. Frequencies to be used.3.950 & , 7.220 &, 14.265, 28.3500,21.350, and 24.940 of course do to other traffic that may be using the frequency may vary +/- some.
