The Mt. Shasta Amateur Radio Club (MSARC), founded in 1947, is a group of amateur radio operators located in Mt. Shasta, California, and the surrounding areas.

The Purpose and the Mission of the Mount Shasta Amateur Radio Club is:

  • To build, install, and operate all types and styles of Amateur Radio communications equipment and facilities, including but not limited to high frequency short wave equipment, repeaters, remote bases, base and mobile units, and packet stations.
  • To promote interest in a broad range of Amateur Radio endeavors, topics and activities, including social, technical, and public service.
  • To encourage and support the membership of the MSARC to continue to remain qualified to operate emergency communications equipment if in case of local disasters, our assistance is requested by local, county, state, or federal agencies.

Monthly meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month (except December) at the MSARC "club house" in Mt. Shasta.  Visitors are welcome and invited to attend.  Be sure to check the Events Calendar on our web site each month to verify meeting date and location.

Be sure to visit our web site at www.W6BML.com for more information!
