June, 22nd - 24th 2017 - We`re going as DL0DFF to the undicted island of Hooge in the Frisian wadden Sea again.
EU-042 DLFF-103 - 80-10m, 2m CW/SSB/Digital, a WSPR beacon will be running, too. If the weather condx will be fine we`re sailing to the Japsand sandbank in order to operate from there for a day.

May, 25th 2017 activated bird reserve "Tipperne" OZFF-131 at the Ringkoping Fjord, Denmark as OZ/DJ7AO with a KX3, KXPA100 and 12m vertical. Closed the log with 251 QSOs after 4 hours.

Since my childhood I was facinated about worldwide wireless communication. In the age of 14 I got my radio licence and made my first contacts in CW. Until today this is my favorite mode in dx- and contesting. I like pile-up`s and activating islands and lighthouses.
Other hobby`s are my restaurated STEYR tractor built 1948, geocaching, photography and photoshop and my German shepdog of course.
