Ham Member Lookups: 624

I began my radio adventures with a SWL habit on an old Halicrafters S-120 that I was given to repair.  After building a couple of small transmitters in years past, I met a few hams and the rest is history.

I got my ticket back in 2003 and fell off the air in 2010 due to the birth of our wonderful son.  My ticket expired in 2013 and I neglected to renew it.  Upon my son's desire to learn about satellites, I re-tested in 2016 (was briefly assigned KG5QDQ) and I'm back on the air.

I enjoy working satellites with my HT (usually SO-50 and AO-85), I'm still into SWL, and I'm learning about QRP, CW, and SDR.  I'm member #8710 of the NAQCC, I'm a member of the SDF Amateur Radio Club, and I check into a few nets with some regularity on terrestrial repeaters and via Echolink. I check in most reliably to these nets: Hogville Hams, The Masonic Gathering, and PSRG Net at 9.

Outside of playing radio, I like to spend time with my family, hike, climb (bouldering), tinker with electronics, program (for a wage), and play go (baduk).
