Ham Member Lookups: 29

A native of Paintsville, KY and longtime resident of the Raleigh/Durham area in NC, I've returned home to eastern KY. I'm currently the camp director and facility manager for Camp Caleb, I also have a technical consulting business on the side. A good friend of mine (KM4DMO) got me involved in ham radio. I see it as a good hobby and a way to setup and maintain good communications systems for the rural facility that I live on and operate. I'm currently attending a good local club when I can make it, KY4ARC (http://www.ky4arc.com/).

Current goals/projects:

Procure a cheap 2m handheld, make first transmission and begin using the local repeater network (http://www.qsl.net/ekrn/)

Get setup for eQSL, LoTW, work on QSL postcards

Install Yaesu 2m Base Station in my truck

Finish building my Icom HF rig and permanent antenna for it

Hopefully host a field day for my club here at the camp!

License and build a GMRS repeater system for communications between camp staff
