^My current station.

1st license 1978, studying for Extra upgrade. Worked for Qwest (formerly US West, formerly Pacific NW Bell) 30yrs, retired 2006. Now finally enjoying life. Married 45 yrs. Enjoy golf, QSO's and digital modes, cooking, travel, writing (2 books in the works now plus several short stories, 1 published).

Active in Thurston County (WA) ARES and Olympia Amateur Radio Society, OARS. 

 

^My qrp station in my Dad's old IBM tool case.

Station: HF - Kenwood TS-2000 with Signalink USB for HRD, VHF/UHF - Yaesu FT-212RH (packet), Yaesu FT2900R (backup for 212), VX-8DR, Baofeng BF-F8+, Baofeng BF-F8HP, TYT TH-9800 in the car.  Starting to play with Satellite communications using the handhelds and an Arrow II 2m/440 beam, no contacts to report yet but still working on it.  Recent addition; XEIGU X108G HF QRP Transceiver.  1st contact was a station in Georgia, USA during the CQ WW WPX Contest (SSB).  Wife says that's enough toys!

Antennas;#1 modified G5RV, #2 HF multiband trap vertical, #3 2M/440 vertical, #4 2M homebrew J-pole.
