Thanks to Matt Garcia, N5PTV, for all of his work and contributions to my station.

My station consists of a Yaesu FT-847, a Yaesu FT-8900, an Alinco DR-235T, a Motorola Spectra (900MHz) and a SignaLink USB for digital modes.

ANTENNA FARM:

My HF antenna is a 29' 4" vertical antenna with a 10' capacitance hat and 120 ground radials. It has an SGC-237 external auto tuner at the base. I use a homebrew SmartLock, based on the original SGC SmartLock, that Matt N5PTV built, to control the tuner from the shack. I am also using a Wellbrook LA5030 mounted on an RCA VH-126R digital antenna rotator on my roof for receive on HF. The HF feedline is Super 8 direct bury from Coaxman. The 2m/440 satellite antenna feedlines are Andrews Heliax. The rest of the antennas use mini RG-8x double shielded coax and crimp connectors, which are soldered as a preventative measure.

My VHF/UHF antenna farm consists of vertical mobile antennas for stealth reasons: 6m loop by Freqtester, 6m vertical, CR-8900A, a 220MHz vertical and a 900MHz vertical. I also use a Jetstream JTD2 discone antenna for testing.

MOBILE:

My vehicle has a Yaesu FT-100 with an SGC-237 auto tuner for 2m/440/6m/HF and a Motorola MCS2000 for 900MHz. The HF antenna is an 8' SG-303 with matching SGC 55-45 mount. The 2m/440/900 antenna is a Browning BR-137, connected to both radios using a Diamond MX-37 triplexer for 2m/440/900.

HANDHELDS:

My handhelds include a Yaesu VX-6R, Motorola GTX 900MHz, Icom IC-W32A, Tytera MD-380 and Baofeng UV-5R.

SECRETARY/WEBMASTER ACARC @ www.w5paa.org (.com or .net also)

My DMR ID# is 3140294.

I have started working the 3905 Century Club Nets and am working on my 40m 100pt, 500pt and 1K awards to become a member. The only award required for membership is the 100pt. I am GIB there as well as OMISS and ARRL.

I hold ICS-100 and ICS-200 certifications and will be working on ICS-700 and ICS-800 in the near future.

QSL POLICY:

When I am mobile, I am NOT logging. I want your cards and will send one back, but need the card completely filled out (your call, my call/M, date, time, frequency, MY location and BOTH signal reports). That will allow me to send you a card back AND log the contact for uploading to the electronic logging websites (QRZ, eQSL, LoTW, HRDLog, ClubLog, QRZCQ, etc.).

The ONLY instance where I will log the contact while mobile is when YOU are also mobile. I can list it on my phone for later logging.

Thanks for understanding!

3905 Century Club - I will send you a card for every new band/net that we work or if you/I need one for an award (40th Anniversary, for example). I also upload to QRZCQ, QRZ, LoTW, eQSL, HRDLog and ClubLog.

OMISS - Cards are sent for contacts with new stations and stations on new nets/bands. I also upload to QRZCQ, QRZ, LoTW, eQSL, HRDLog and ClubLog.

DX - I will QSL with card if you have a QSL manager in the USA, otherwise I will QSL via QRZ, QRZCQ, eQSL, LoTW, HRDLog and ClubLog for all DX contacts. If I send you a card with USD as per your QSL policy, I expect one in return. All cards sent to ARRL Bureau if requested. I use the ARRL Incoming/Outgoing QSL Bureaus as well.

Route 66 On the Air - I will QSL with card and SASE as requested and upload them to QRZ, QRZCQ, eQSL, LoTW, HRDLog and ClubLog.

13 Colonies - I will QSL with card and SASE as requested IF I work all of the stations required for the certificate (not counting WM3PEN and GB13COL). All contacts will be uploaded to QRZ, QRZCQ, eQSL, LoTW, HRDLog and ClubLog, regardless of the number of stations worked in the special event.

All others, I will QSL via QRZ, QRZCQ, eQSL, LoTW, HRDLog.net and ClubLog.org
