Ham Radio since 1954

First licensed in 1954 as WNØUBD, WØUBD in 1955 from Maple Lake, MN.

Current Ham Radio operations from FRUITA,  COLORADO - SSB, PSK, RTTY.

Picture on left from 1955: HALLIFCRAFTERS  S-38C Rx, HEATHKIT   AT-1 Tx,
AC-1 Ant Coupler, 
Homebrew AM Modulator.
A later addition was a T23/ARC-5 for 2 Meter transmitting with a homebrew converter
for receiving on a S-40A.

Picture on right is current:  IC-756 PRO,  Heil Goldline Mic,
Collins 30L1 (Still works but no longer using).
Attached personal computer for Digital modes and Rig Control.

2 Meter AM/CW on the Left.  75 Meter AM Mobile on the Right
1955 - 1957 Time frame:
T-23/ARC-5  Two Meter Xmtr for  AM-CW on the Left.
T-20/ARC-5  75 Meter AM Xmtr on the Right for Mobile operation in my Dad's
1955 Ford.  I had to use the 6 volt filament equivalent tubes.

My 20 Meter Inverted "V". Fed with 52 ohm coax.                    20141127
Antenna support is from a Satellite Dish mount with a piece of
gray PVC pipe stuck into the top.
